  23. While the Amiga parallel port doesn't support ECP/EPP or whatever else, 
  24. it is perfectly capable of handling I/O operations.  A while ago someone 
  25. claimed that a driver for parallel port tape drives would be fairly 
  26. straight foward if the manufacturers would release the details of the 
  27. interface's command set.

  32. Parallel port harddrives are pointless, except perhaps for portability 
  33. reasons.  However it would be nice to be able to use parallel port tape 
  34. backups as SCSI ones are rather expensive.
